2. Repetitive, accuracy

A special mechanism provides exact pipetting actions with all required volumes until the built-in safety margin is reached, which guarantees a precise final result. Thus, it is impossible to dose a lower volume than set at the adjusting wheel. At the same time, the remaining amount retained in the ritips is reduced to a minimum.

3. Reduction of working time

The Ripette® covers a volume range of 1 µ to 5 ml. It permits up to 48 dispensing steps in intervals on 1 second without refilling, and this saves 90 percent of working time, which would have to be spent when employing the traditional pipetting techniques.

4. Superior safety in pipetting dangerous media

The liquids to be dispensed are retained within the ritips so that a contact between Ripette® and user is excluded. This system reduces the risk of contamination of the Ripette® and infection or injury of the user, and guarantees that he can operate at any time without hesitation. The change of reagents is no problem whatsoever. Simply change the Ritips.

5. Absolutely maintenance - free

The Ripette® contains no wearing parts. Hence, maintenance and repair are superfluous.

6. Tested precision

After production, ever Ripette® is tested for operability and precision. It is only after all requirements of our quality management system and standard DIN 12 650 have been met that the Ripette® receives a serial number.

7. Guarantee

All Ripettes® are provided with a serial number and are warranted for one year by Ritter med GmbH (given correct handling in accordance with the operating instructions).

The Rivette Cuvette Cartridge is compatible with the Cobas Mira S and Cobas Mira Plus instruments. The Rivette consists of a new and improved cartridge holder that provides user friendly mounting and a highly transparent polymer to prevent measuring errors. The material of construction is PolyMethylAcetal which is commonly known as Acrylglas.

The Rivette features a 6 x 6mm internal-square dimension. Each Rivette Cuvette Cartridge is chain linked with 12 segments. Each well accommodates from 150ul to 600ul. Rivette Cuvette Cartridges are sold individually wrapped, 25 cartridges per box, 20 boxes per case.

The 96-deep well Riplate is available is polypropylene and polystyrene. The Riplate features the same footprint as all standar 96 well microtiter plates and is compatible with commonly used 8 and 12 channel pipetters.

The alpha-numeric designation makes the Riplate ideal for storage or archiving of specimens. In addistion, the Riplate is useful for DNA sequencing, ELISA and general procedures requiring a "mother" plate. Other Common uses include culture retrieval of bacteria and cell tissue in clinical research applications.

The Riplate can be used in connection with the Bio-Mek 1000 Automated Laboratory Workstation for pharmaceutical R&D studies. The Polypropylene Riplate is compatible for liquid nitrogen storage. Overall well plate dimensions are 128 x 86 x 42mm. Lids (Cap Mats) for the Riplate are available separately.

The 96-deep well Riplate is available in polypropylene. The Riplate features the same footprint as all standard 96 well microtiter plates and is compatible with commonly used 6 and 12 channel pipetters. Such as plate is useful in carrying our "combinatorial" chemistry strategies using so-called microbead "split and recombine" reaction strategies. The market for such applications is in drug discovery.
